National PTA Reflections Program

For 50 years, National PTA’s Reflections program has helped students explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life.  The National PTA Reflections Program is our nation’s oldest and largest arts education program of its kind.

Each year, hundreds of thousands of students in Pre-K through Grade 12 create and submit original works of art in one or all of the available arts categories.

The theme for the 2020-2021 program year is I Matter Because…. Students submit their completed works of art in one or all of the available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts.

The National PTA has released this Call for Entries Video. Please watch and share it on your social media. Check out these social sharables for prfor further promotion on your social media.

2019-2020 Program Theme

The 2019-2020 theme Look Within helped students to look within themselves to determine what drives them, inspires them, and what they are most passionate about. Students can look within their communities to find the good, the bad, and what needs to be done to help their communities thrive.
