Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) is looking for professional drivers for our schoolchildren. Drivers are currently in short supply. You can help make the difference in many children’s lives when you greet and encourage them each day, celebrating their triumphs or consoling them on their disappointments by joining our professional team.

Perhaps you should consider becoming a licensed child transporter for Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS). Professional drivers for our kids, the most precious cargo in our county, are currently in short supply. If you are reliable and of good character; physically capable, have a good driving record and can complete four weeks of the best paid drivers training in the nation, there is a place for you on our exclusive professional driving team.

 

The tangible benefits of working for FCPS are that you receive full pay ($16.57 an hour) during your four weeks of training. When you work from 4 to 8 hours a day you are eligible for full time benefits. You can save thousands of dollars on day care costs because your preschool children or grandchildren can ride with you. You and your children have the same vacation time and you accrue both sick and personal leave time. You are also eligible for a $500 signing bonus.
