Your Road Map to Successful Recruiting
General
- Linked to this page are the tools (marketing material) you need to get
you started recruiting bus driver candidates for FCPS.
- Quite simply there is not all that much you have to do.
Your job is to spread the word of the driver shortage and the great job
opportunity using the material offered and delivered through your PTA’s and
school’s established and informal communication networks. FCPS does
the rest of the work once your candidate calls the application center number
listed on the form and schedules a Bus Driver Information Briefing.
- Using our suggested marketing tools at this site in combination with
your own imagination and initiative and you can’t help but be successful. .
- Use of your networks and personal contacts will be the key to your
success. The personal approach always works best. Networking is
how you really match good people with good jobs.
- You are encouraged to recruit from within and outside your school
community.
- PTAs affiliated with FCPS and other non-affiliated District PTAs are
invited to participate.
- Unfortunately there is no incentive award for the non-affiliated
PTAs.
- Non-affiliated PTAs will primarily participate out of public
service to their school’s families, to FCPS and for the greater good of
the community.
- Candidates recruited by FCPS affiliated PTAs must identify themselves as
such upon application to FCPS or your PTA will not receive the credit
towards a $1000 finders fee!
- There is no upper limit on what you can earn.
- Great idea for a fund raiser, right?
- Good Luck and thank you for your efforts to help resolve this
critical shortage.
