100% membership is achieved when a local unit has a PTA member for each child in the school’s average daily enrollment, which is reported by the school systems to the State Department of Education on September 30th of each year. Local units who have reached 100% membership by March 1st are recognized by District PTA and units who achieve 100% membership by June 30th are recognized by the Virginia PTA at the State PTA Convention in the fall.
