The Alexandria Council of PTAs (PTAC) is comprised of 16 PTAs/PTSAs in the City of Alexandria, Virginia whose mission is make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. The PTAC is the advocacy voice for all of our children all of the time — not just one grade, one school, or one side of town. We have a close working relationship with the superintendent and school board members who listen to us and share breaking news with us. Every PTA president (or authorized delegate) is a voting member of the PTAC.
PTA Council meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month in the Minnie Howard Middle School Media Center and begin at 7 p.m.
For more information and to get involved, please contact Bill Pfister, President, at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can follow PTAC through the social media of Alexandria City Schools on Facebook and Twitter.
